We are a modern Scottish chamber choir based in Edinburgh, with about 20 members who all share a passion for singing.

Our motivation has always been the enjoyment of music; through the performance of a wide variety of different works that inspire and delight both the choir itself and our audience.

Edinburgh Fringe 2008

flier When we first put on our late-night performance of the Fauré Requiem by Candlelight in the 2006 Edinburgh Fringe, we were delighted that tickets completely sold out even before the doors were opened. Then in 2007, we were even more overwhelmed that the same concert programme sold out weeks in advance. However such run-away success also brought us the unpleasant task of turning away hundreds of disappointed music-lovers at the door.

Therefore in 2008, in an effort to accommodate as many of our faithful audience members as possible, we are putting on two performances of Fauré's masterpiece on separate evenings. We do hope you will find the time in your busy festival schedules to join us for one of these rather special nights.

FAURÉ REQUIEM BY CANDLELIGHT

An atmospheric late-night performance by candlelight of Fauré's much-loved Requiem and Cantique de Jean Racine, with orchestra.
